​Alvin Rick

Alvin Rick was killed in a car accident at age 30. His grandfather was Benjamin Rick,  who is listed as owner of lot #35  on a hand drawn plot map of Bachelors Grove Cemetery, the only piece of "official" burial documentation that exists. Benjamin and his wife Alvina  are buried in Lyons, Il, just a few miles from Bachelors Grove. 

The document below we located recently is an application for a military headstone to mark Alvins Grave in Bachelors Grove. We believe Alvin is buried in lot #35. Alvin was not previously listed as being buried in Bachelors Grove Cemetery.
