The Path to Bachelors Grove

Original cemtery plot notations indicat that the west half of this lot belonged to Alphonse Carley and the east side to George Weber. 


Alphonse Carley married Elizabeth Weber in 1850. they had four Children together and owned a farm in what is now Tinley Park. Alphonse Died in 1861 and Elizabeth remarried  a farm hand, George Kollmann,(see photo below) that same year. George's mother , Rosa Kollmann  is buried in this lot in Bachelors Grove Cemetery, along with Elizabeths' mother, Martha Weber and sister Catherine Weber.
